We are excited to formally announce we have officially opened another Job Center location in Charlotte, North Carolina! This is a significant milestone in our company’s journey from starting in the back corner of a strip mall in 2007 to now servicing 22 locations in 12 states and only continuing to grow! This expansion reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing our services for our partners and embracing new opportunities in the “Queen City”.

Charlotte was the ideal location to extend our business, as the city is full of opportunities in the light industrial staffing industry. Charlotte is a dynamic and rapidly growing metropolitan area, ranking in the top 20 fastest-growing cities in the U.S. The city’s rising population has led to exponential growth in its workforce, presenting us with the opportunity to attract and deploy new local talent. We believe that our people-first approach to staffing and our commitment to excellence will be a valuable addition to Charlotte’s thriving job market. We eagerly anticipate the fresh perspectives and capabilities this city will bring to our team.

Many employers won’t consider meeting you if you don’t have one.

    If you are an industrial worker who has never written a resume before, the resume-writing process can seem particularly stressful. Don’t panic – follow these simple dos and don’ts to create an effective light industrial resume:

    DO:

    • Use Microsoft Word to create your resume. This is the simplest and easiest way to format your resume.
    • Use a font that’s easy to read. Use a classic font like Times New Roman and use a size that is easy to read: 11 or 12.
    • Include keywords. These are target words related to the industry, responsibilities or requirements. Be sure to mention tools and machines you have experience using and skills and tasks you’ve performed before. Example keywords: order picking, assembly, forklift driver…
    • Include current and correct contact information. Recruiters need a way to contact you: email, cell phone, first & last name. Double check for typos or you’ll never get that phone call.
    • Create an “Awards and Accomplishments” section. Include relevant education, certifications, or promotions. It’s a perfect way to show your value and highlight your successes.
    • Include dates of employment. Employers want to see start and end dates. 

    DON’T:

    • Use false information. Be honest. Your information will be confirmed.
    • Use too many words. As long as you get your point across and use keywords, employers will get the point. Use bullet points.
    • Forget to double check your work! Take a moment to look over your finished resume, or ask someone to look it over for you. 

    Crafting a resume is a time investment, remember that it is also an investment in your future!
